QUIETNESS

The world know not of quiet. Restlessness

Is its abiding law. From there it goes

To pain and joylessness, and back again

To the unceasing restlessness on which

It stands, uncertain, insecure and frail,

Prey to illusions, victimized by guilt.

Yet quietness comes over it at last.

For when forgiveness comes,its certain gift

Is stillness, in which all the world is hushed;

A silence where the littleness of sin

Shrinks into nothingness before the Love

Forgiveness represents. And in His Name

Is everyone acknowledged as the same.

世界は落ち着きのない法則に従い、静けさを知りません。

幻想と罪悪感の中で喜びのない痛みに向かい、

また不安定で壊れやすい落ち着かなさに戻る事を繰り返します。

しかし静けさはやがて訪れます。

赦しの贈り物は静寂です．そして世界は静まります。

それは小さな罪の幻想が愛の赦しの前で消える場所の静けさです。

そして神の名の下にすべての人の同一性が認識されます。

Christmas as the End of Sacrifice

I give you to the Holy Spirit as part of myself。

I know that you will be released,

unless I want to use you to imprison myself.　

In the name of my freedom I choose your release,

In quiet I receive God's Word today.

Let this day be a day of stillness and of quiet listening.

今日を静寂の中で静かに神の声を聴く日にしましょう。


Your Father wills you hear His Word today.
He calls to you from deep within your mind where He abides.

神はあなたが彼の声を聴くことを意図しています。
神はあなたの心の奥深くにいて、そこからあなたに呼びかけています。


Hear Him today.
No peace is possible until His Word is heard around the world;
until your mind,in quiet listening,accepts the message that
the world must hear to usher in the quiet time of peace.

今日、神を聴きましょう。
彼の言葉が世界に届き聴かれなければ平和は不可能です。
あなた自身の心が静かに聴き、それが世界に届き平和に導かれるのです。


His Voice awaits your silence,
for His Word can not be heard until your mind is quiet for a while,
and meaningless desires have been stilled.

神の声はあなたの心の静けさを待っています。
あなたの心からしばらくの間、無意味な欲望が消え
静かになるまでは彼の声を聴くことはできません。


Await His Word in quiet.
There is peace within you to be called upon today,
to help make ready your most holy mind to hear the Voice for its Creator speak.

静寂の中で彼の言葉を待ちましょう。
今日あなたの心の奥の平和があなたの気付きを待っています。
そして心の最も気高い部分が創造主の声を聴く事を助けてくれます。


It is your voice to which you listen as He speaks to you.

神の声として聴こえるのは実はあなた自身の声です。



It is the Word of freedom and of peace,of unity of will and purpose
with no separation nor division in the single Mind of Father and of Son.

それは自由と平和、意思と決心の一致、
けして離れる事のない神と神の子の心からの言葉です。



























I

I want the peace of God

I want the peace of God.

To say these words is nothing.
But to mean these words is everything.
If you could but mean them for just an instant, there would be no
further sorrow possible for you in any form; in any place or time.

私は神の平和が欲しい。

単にこの言葉を唱える事には意味がありません。
それを本当に意図する事がすべてです。
一瞬でも神の平和を本当に求める気持ちになれば
その後のどんな場所にも時にも悲しみや苦痛はありえません。



Heaven would be completely given back to full awareness,
memory of God entirely restored,
the resurrection of all creation fully recognized.

天国、神への記憶は意識の中に完全に戻ります。
創造の蘇りが認識されます。




No one can mean these words and not be healed.
He cannot play with dreams,
nor think he is himself a dream.
He cannot make a hell and think it real.

この言葉を本当に意図すれば必ず癒しがあります。
この言葉を意図する事によりもう夢で遊ぶ事、
自分自身を夢の中に見る事がなくなります。
地獄を造りそれを本物と勘違いする事がなくなります。




He wants the peace of God, and it is given him.
For that is all he wants,and that is all he will receive.

神の平和を意図すればそれが与えられます。
それだけを望めばそれだけを受け取ります。


Many have said these words.
But few indeed have meant them.
You have but to look upon the world you see around you
to be sure how very few they are.
The world would be completely changed,
should any two agree these words express the only thing they want.

これまでに多くの人がこの言葉を唱えました。
しかし本当に意図した人はわずかです。
世界をちょっとでも見回してみれば、
神の平和を本当に求める人がいかに少ないか分かります。
二人の人間がこの言葉を本当に意図して唱えるだけで世界は完全に変わるのです。

中立の思考はない

Neutral thoughts are impossible because all thoughts have power.
They will either make a false world or lead me to the real one.
But thoughts cannot be without effects.

すべての思考には（創造の）力があり、思考の中立は不可能です。
思考は偽りの世界を造り出すか、または真実の世界へと導くかのどちらかです。
結果のない思考はありません。



As the world I see arises from my thinking errors,
so will the real world rise before my eyes
as I let my errors be corrected.
My thoughts cannot be neither true nor false.
They must be one or the other.
What I see shows me which they are.

（物質）世界が私の間違った思考から生み出されていると同じように、
思考の間違いの訂正を受け入れる事により、真実の世界が私の目の前に現れます。
私の思考が真実でも偽りでもない、という事はありえません。
思考は真実か偽りかのどちらかであり、
私の視界がそのどちらかを見せてくれます。

The secret of salvation is but this;
that you are doing this unto yourself.
No matter what the form of the attack, this still is true.
Whoever takes the role of enemy and of attacker, still is this the truth.
Whatever seems to be the cause of any pain and suffering you feel,
this is still true.

救いへの秘密は：すべては自分が自分にしている,　事への気付きにあります。
それはどのような形の攻撃であっても変わらず真実です。
それが誰がどのような形で敵対し攻撃をする役をしていても真実です。
何があなたの苦しみや痛みの原因になっているように見えても変わらずに真実です。



For you would not react at all to figures in a dream
you knew that you were dreaming.
Let them be as hateful and vicious as they may,
they could have no effect on you
unless you failed to recognize it is your dream.

あなたはそれが自分の夢であるのを知っていれば登場人物に反応はしないでしょう。
彼らがどんなに憎しみや悪意を向けているように見えても
”自分の夢”である認識ができればいかなる影響も受ける事はないのです。



This single lesson learned will set you free from suffering,
whatever form it takes.

この一つのレッスンを学ぶ事があなたをすべての形の苦しみから解放します。

What is a Miracle?

A miracle is a correction. It does not create, nor really change at all.
It merely looks on devastation,
and reminds the mind that what it sees is false.
ミラクルは訂正です．何かを作り出す事、変える事もありません。
単に荒廃を見て、それが偽りである事を心に思い出させます。



It undoes error, but does not attempt to go beyond perception,
nor exceed the function of forgiveness.
Thus it stays within time's limits.
Yet it paves the way for the return of timelessness and love's awakening
for fear must slip under the gentle remedy it brings.
ミラクルは誤りを取り消し,しかし視覚を超えようとする事、赦しの役割を超越する事はありません。
時間の枠に留まりながらも、永遠に戻り愛を呼び覚ます事を促します。
恐れはミラクルの優しいレムディーの元に消えていきます。




A miracle contains the gift of grace, for it is given and received as one.
And thus it illustrates the law of truth the world does not obey,
because it fails entirely to understand its ways.
ミラクルには与える事と受け取る事の同一性による気高い贈り物が含まれてます。
それはこの世の理解を完全に超えた真実の法則を示しています。



A miracle inverts perception which was upside down before,
and thus it ends the strange distortions that were manifest.
Now is perception open to the truth.
Now is forgiveness seen as justified.
ミラクルはこれまでの逆さまの、奇妙に歪んだ視点を直します。
今、視覚は真実に開かれます。
今、赦しの正当さが認識されます。



Forgiveness is the home of miracles.
The eyes of Christ deliver them to all they
look upon in mercy and in love.
赦しはミラクルの住処です。
キリストの目は見上げるものすべてに慈愛と愛と共にミラクルを授けます。



Perception stands corrected in His sight, and
what was meant to curse has come to bless.
視覚は彼の視点により直り、災いは祝福に変わります。



Each lily of forgiveness offers all the world the silent miracle of love
赦しの百合の花一つ一つがこの世に静かなミラクルの愛を捧げます。


And each is laid before the Word of God,
upon the universal altar to Creator and creation
in the light of perfect purity and endless joy.
赦しの百合の花一つ一つが完全なる純粋さと永遠の喜びの中で創造主と創造物への宇宙の祭壇、神の言葉の前に置かれます。



The miracle is taken first on faith, because to ask for it implies
the mind has been made ready to conceive of
what it cannot see and does not understand.
ミラクルはまず信じる事により受け取られます．
なぜならそれは心が見る事ができない事、
理解を超えた事を受け取る準備がある事を暗示するからです。



Yet faith will bring its witnesses to show that
what it rested on is really there.
信頼はそれが本当に安泰にそこにある事を見せてくれます。



And thus the miracle will justify your faith in it,
and show it rested on a world more real than what you saw before;
a world redeemed from what you thought was there.
ミラクルはあなたの信頼を受け止め、これまでと違う真実の世界、
あなたの間違った思考から回復した世界を見せてくれます。



Miracles fall like drops of healing rain from Heaven on a dry and dusty
world, where starved and thirsty creatures come to die.
Now they have water. Now the world is green.
ミラクルは乾いたホコリに満ちた、
飢え乾いた者たちが死に行く世界に癒しの雨のしずくをもたらします。
今、彼らは潤い、世界は緑になります。



And everywhere the signs of life spring up,
to show that what is born can never die, for what has
life has immortality.
すべての場所に命が蘇ることにより、
産まれるものには死はなく、
命あるものの不死身さが示されます。

The Starfish

Christ comes to us as we would come to Him;
A broken bit of life that washed ashore,
In seeming pain and darkened throes of death,
A dying starfish on the sandy floor.

And yet His light shines forth from every tip.
His love for us denies what eyes would see
When blinded by illusion's fearful grasp,
In chains forgiveness tenderly sets free.

Your gentle hand bent down to bless and heal
Two broken bits which are rejoined as one.
Where once stood death stands now a risen life.
The work forgiveness came to do is done.

The starfish blesses you in gratitude
For your great gift of love replacing sin.
The starfish in you joins in blessing you
For what was two is joined in God again.



キリストは私たちに来る　私たちが彼のもとに行くように；
壊れた命のかけらが岸を洗う、
痛みと暗い死の苦しみに見える中で
死に瀕したヒトデが砂の上に横たわる。

しかし彼の光が届きすべてを照らす。
彼の愛が恐れの幻想に覆われた目に映るものを消し
赦しが鎖を解き放つ。

あなたの優しい手が下りて恵みを送り癒し
二つに壊れた部分が一つに戻る。
死が立った場所に命が蘇る。
赦しがその仕事を成し遂げる。

ヒトデは感謝と共に祝福し
あなたの大きな愛の贈りものが罪の幻想を消す。
あなたの中のヒトデはあなたと共に祝福し
二つは神の元で一つに戻る。

The Holy Spirit teaches one lesson ,
and applies it to all individuals in all situations.
Being conflict -free, He maximizes all efforts and all results.
By teaching the power of the kingdom of God Himself,
He teaches you that all power is yours.
Its application does not matter. It is always maximal.
Your vigilance does not establish it as yours,
but it does enable you to use it always and in all ways.


精霊はすべての人々すべての状況に適応する事ができる一つのレッスンを教えます
心の葛藤を解き放つ事で、精霊によってすべての努力と結果が最大限とされます
神の王国の力を教える事で、その力があなたの物である事を教えます。
それはどのような事柄に適応されようと関係なく常に最大限になります。
あなたの注意深い維持によりあなただけの物となるのでなく、
しかしあなたはそれをどんな時にもどんな方向へも使う事ができるのです。


When I said 'I am with you always" I meant it literally.
I am not absent to anyone in any situation.
Because I am always with you,
you are the way,the truth and the life.


私が言った　“いつもあなたと共にいます”　という言葉はそのままを意味します。
すべての人のどんな状況にも私が不在であることはありません。
なぜなら私はいつもあなたと共にいるからです。
あなたは、道であり、真実であり、命です。
